* 6th - 12th graders meet in the Youth Room (downstairs)
Middle School Youth Group
The Middle School Youth Group meets Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. through 5:15 p.m. in the Youth Room downstairs. This time is for youth in grades 6-8!
From 3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., we offer a time of fellowship, games, and snack in the Fellowship Hall. At 4:00 p.m., we begin our weekly activity time.
Middle School is a hard time for students. They are transitioning to a new school. They are physically, mentally, and spiritually changing daily! Middle School Youth Group at Central seeks to connect the Bible stories and Biblical truth they learned as children to the new challenges they face. They will be nurtured with the love of Christ, but also challenged to overcome any old or new sin they may be living in.
High School Youth Group
The High School Youth Group meets Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. in the Youth Room downstairs. All youth in grades 9 - 12 are welcome!
Youth will encounter a judgement-free zone where they can freely share what's really going on in their lives and seek grace and love from their brothers and sisters in Christ. They will be encouraged to take the next step in their faith journeys through Biblical lessons that apply to challenges they are facing, experiences that will open their eyes to the need for Christ in the world around them, and developing their skills in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Confirmation
Youth take part in Confirmation throughout their eighth grade school year. They will attend several confirmation retreats where they learn about the church and explore their Christian faith. For more information, please contact Youth Coordinator, Levi Waddell.
Youth Missions
The middle school and high school youth will take part in a wide variety of special events and missions trips throughout the year. Examples are, Pine Ridge Mission Trip, garbage pickup, food packing for the local Food Pantry, along with fun trips such as Valleyfair and snow skiing.
